The hustle of the festive season is slowly taking hold in the streets of Lille, with the inevitable Christmas Market. This magical event is the pulsating heart of the city, offering a warm atmosphere and unique experiences for all visitors. This year, Lille Christmas Market has a plethora of new and exciting stalls and activities to celebrate the festive season.
It will take place from 22 November to 30 December 2023, again on Place Rihour.
THE ESSENTIALS
The stalls will be decorated and illuminated, and bursting with gastronomic delights. Savoury cheeses, sweet treats, spiced mulled wine and other regional specialities invite you on an unforgettable taste journey.
Local artisans showcase their talent with unique handcrafted items, perfect for original gifts for your loved ones.
Christmas products, well-being products, jewellery, decorative items, toys – you’ll be spoilt for choice!
WHAT'S NEW
This year, the Lille Christmas Market has a few surprises in store :
– Christmas trees: You’ll be able to buy your own tree (for the first 3 weeks only).
– A stand will be selling hot water bottles made from wheat seed and real lavender flowers made in France, ideal for keeping warm all winter long!
– Natural wooden speakers
– A special Japan stand (manga-related products, teapots, crockery, etc.)

On top of stalls, attractions and outdoor entertainment, the Christmas Market offers activities for all ages.
From the ice rink for pirouettes on the ice to meeting Father Christmas for the youngest visitors, there’s something for everyone.
